Creating Faerie Houses

I spent my whole childhood in the woods meadows marshes swamps and beaches. I have always collected bits and pieces of wood acorns moss lichens mushrooms and discarded insect and animal skins, shells, feathers. I am an avid bird watcher and wholehearted naturalist and re-purposing recycler. If you can write your name you are an artist. But it takes time perseverance and dedication for one to turn lines into different shapes that can convey an entire drawing. An Artist takes it further and creates an original painting which reveals another inner world from their heart and soul. In these times life is difficult and we need a reprise from the chaos, trauma, and drama of daily life. Escaping into an enchanted fantasy world is essential to recognizing the beauty that does exist in this world. So welcome to my world. "Tessimal's Celestial World"
 I have spent many years exploring nature, in my travels I have listened to the whispering of the muses who speak through the rustling wind that filters through the leaves of the trees.These whisperings fueled sparks of creative juices in my imagination and I started creating Faerie houses out of birch bark that I found decomposing on the ground in the woods of New England. My faerie houses are homes for the" fae" the little guardians of the natural world. Keepers and protectors of the flora and fauna. In creating these works of art with birch bark, mushrooms, moss, and other treasures of the forest. I have made the faerie houses available as kits. A great activity for children and miniature enthusiasts alike. The Faerie Houses stimulate the imagination and creative process in children.
